On sunday we got up very early and went straight to the ring entrance. where most of the raceminded crew got up for their own lap around the nordschleiffe. I was dropped of @ brunchen to took some pictures of them driving the ring. after the lap they picked me up and we went back to the entrance where we went to the ringtaxi building. Jeroen had booked a drive with the taxi earlier this month and we where very lucky that there was a unbooked lap left, because most of the time they are full for a whole year. But our luck just didn't ended with that.. because when we entered the building we saw the queen of the nordschleiffe: Sabine Schmitz getting in the Bmw M5. witch is quite unique because she only drives the ring taxi for 10 to 12 days a year.
So you can imagine how happy we where when we heard that she would be the one driving us over the nordschleiffe, or should i say drifting us over the nordschleiffe. I think it was the best driving experience i've ever had. the speed and sound of the M5 is just amazing, and Sabine is a driving goddess. She told us that she had over 30000 laps around the ring and i think she knows it better than her own backyard.. it was just an incredible experience.
